Having spoken with several Slow Friends during our recent Five Days of Autumn workshop, I feel it’s time to restart a weekly online gentle yoga class to keep us all focused and held accountable for our practice.
This will be a 30-minute class on Zoom offering one (or a combination) of these practices:
yoga asana (including restorative & yin)
breathwork
meditation
sound journey experience
As a Slow Friend, this class will be included in your monthly payment, but I would like to open it out to the wider community on a drop-in/donation basis (you are free to tell and/or bring your friends!).
Let me know which days work best for you:
The idea is that when we commit to each other to be there we then experience how good it feels to make the time to slow down, breathe, and connect.
“Let’s hold each other accountable in these practices we know nurture a deeper sense of balance, encouraging us to see and heal our truest selves.”
Much love,
Alice

In case you’ve lost touch with this newsletter (easily done in this age of information-overwhelm!) and would like to be reminded of who I am…👋
Hello! I’m Alice Elgie, also known as Wandering Alice: writer, yogi, nature lover, wife, ma, and perpetual seeker.
I live a rather nomadic life with a focus on simplicity and slowness and you’ll find me flitting between narrowboats, cabins, vans, cottages, and yurts; anywhere from the Highlands of Scotland to rural France, to the mountains of Portugal and Spain—anywhere I can live in a more connected and less encumbered way.
My deepest passion on this journey is living a life infused with yoga. Not just asana (the physical practice) but the ancient traditions and philosophies. I have completed many studies, but right now I am six months into a Sanskrit course with Dr. Edwin Bryant—delving deeper into sacred yoga texts is my great love.
I hope you will join me on this life journey…perhaps through a yoga class, or by connecting in the comments of my writing, or maybe by becoming a Slow Friend.
With love,
Alice
