I love the east coast and north sea. The picture you show we see it in the lovely sunshine. What a treat. I am used to the dark cold looking sea of my youth. But I still love that too.
Dear Sarah, so lovely to see your comment.💕 Yes, we were very blessed with the weather that morning! But like you, I enjoy the shades of the sea. I love walking on the beach whatever the weather. Still and bright blue, or rough and inky with patches of slate grey — it always brings me back to a sense of balance and peace. A permanent sea view is my dream. Much love!
The Secret Bench — many a pondering moment has been spent there over the years! I love that we got to swim and dream together whilst looking out at the hazy horizon.🏊♀️💛🙏🏻
Exactly this Lee the Pea! It's as if all else falls away and becomes irrelevant. What a gift we each have; to own these unique moments—even if just for a moment! 💕
"For a moment it was ours" was "hours", which I realize both work here. When I think of a moment as hours of bliss, I can feel it and when I think of a moment as ours I feel that too, the connection to the sea, to the world. The English language can fool you, and yet I came away with 2 beautiful images on my morning walk.
Dear Tanya! How lovely to see your name pop up.🤗 And I absolutely love hearing how these words landed with you. It's been whirling round my brain since I read your comment — that sense of "blissful hours" being contained within a moment. How beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing this!! Now I, too, have a new image to ponder over. I hope you're well! 🙏🏻💛

Beautiful words 🥰 I just love that bench and what a view! It was a lovely holiday and I am so glad we were able to swim in the sea too Xx

It's true when you say a view belongs to you. No-one else has seen the seascape quite like you and it becomes yours, forever!
