Such beautiful wisdom that resonates deeply. May the water gently hold and soon carry you onwards, dear Alice, to an abundant spring and summer filled with many magical moments. 💛
Dear Carol, your comments always lift my heart. Thank you for the gift of your presence.
I'm hoping that for each of us, we will find comfort in an abundant spring and summer as we trust in ourselves and the places and spaces where we land.
There are so many things that resonate with me in this post. Those times that things don’t go quite to the plan we have in our heads are hard, how we react to that is so important. Using our energy wisely.
Lingering on those moments to treasure I believe the important thing is to notice at all. They can fill us up whether they are a moments glance or an hour long pause. I believe we do absorb them however long we linger. They are also a wonderful antidote to the negativity in the world.
So lovely to hear from you! I'll be off to check out your updates next. (By the way, a while ago I tried to join up to receive notifications for your posts but for some reason it wouldn't let me?)
I'm thrilled my words resonated...it's always good to feel connected in this way, isn't it—through words, through screens. "Using our energy wisely" is something I really felt last week and sometimes I succeeded, but other times I'm no afraid to say I failed. But that's life I guess... and yes, I think you're right when you say "the important thing is to notice at all". For me, I find being able to recall those moments in more difficult times is so comforting. It reminds me of this verse of Wordsworth's poem:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm so grateful for your input and I hope you are well. 💛🙏🏻🌼
