Thank you Alice. I find it is a constant battle not to have desires. Everywhere we look we are bombarded by adverts fir things we apparently need and even by other peoples seemingly perfect lives. I guess even longing for brighter days and warmer weather is a desire. The only way I can deal with this is to constantly shake myself up, accept what is and enjoy each moment as much as I can. This I believe is what nature does. I say this looking at our dogs just laying satisfied by the fire when I know they would rather be chasing ducks 😊

I guess the thing is to step away from all the 'noise' so that we might have the option to truly question which desires are of a good and true nature. That's where I'm at—trying to eliminate desires that lead me down a false and unnecessary path...to question whether they are being dangled in front of me to tempt, rather than offer anything truly valid for life's journey. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. And yes, if only we could be as accepting of the moment as our dogs!💙🙏🏻❄️
